How it works

  1. 1

Open AI Scan and add your photos

From the sidebar, tap "Scan Item" to open /scan. Take a photo, upload from your gallery, or paste an image URL, up to 8 photos per scan, in JPG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC, HEIF, AVIF, BMP or GIF. One clear photo is enough to scan, but multiple angles improve the AI's accuracy.

  2. 2

    Run the scan

Hit "Scan N Photos". ResellIQ reads brand markings, care labels and condition, checks market demand, and estimates a resale price, usually in 20 to 40 seconds. If the photo is too unclear to read, you'll see "Scan failed. Try a clearer photo." instead of a result, so just retake the shot and try again.

  3. 3

    Check the extracted details

The results screen fills in the item's title, brand, condition, category, colour, size and a full listing description, each with a confidence badge. An estimated resale price (low, average, high) appears alongside the original RRP where ResellIQ can find one. These are AI-assisted suggestions, so give the brand, condition and price a quick check before you list.

  4. 4

    Read the Market Intelligence panel

Underneath the price, a "Market Intelligence" panel explains the reasoning behind the estimate, things like how steady demand is for that item right now and how fast similar pieces are selling. A "Best Platforms" list ranks which marketplace is likely to sell it fastest. This panel is part of the AI Scan results, not a separate page, and shows automatically whenever the scan has enough to go on.

  5. 5

    Add it to your inventory

"Quick List" adds the item straight to your inventory with everything the scan found, ready to edit later, and shows a confirmation toast before taking you to My Stock. "Review & Add" instead carries the same data over to the full Add Item form so you can adjust anything before it's saved. Either way, AI Scan only creates the inventory record, it doesn't publish the item to Vinted, Depop or eBay for you, use Cross-list for that once it's in your stock.

Frequently asked

One clear photo is enough, but multiple angles help the AI read brand tags, care labels and condition more accurately. You can add up to 8 photos per scan, each under 20 MB, in JPG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC, HEIF, AVIF, BMP or GIF, so iPhone photos work without any conversion. You can also paste a public image URL instead of uploading a file.
