Photo Studio
Consistent listing photos — without the editing.
Good photos sell items faster and for more. Photo Studio fixes what actually goes wrong with reseller photos: colour casts from indoor lighting, wonky angles, inconsistent crops and sizes. It runs a fixed, repeatable image pipeline — not a generative model — so your photos always show your item exactly as it is, just properly lit and squared up.
Why photos quietly cost you sales
Buyers scroll fast. A washed-out photo shot under a yellow bulb, tilted five degrees, gets skipped — even when the item is great. The sellers who consistently move stock aren't the ones with the best cameras; they're the ones whose photos look clean, true-to-colour and consistent down the feed.
The catch is that proper photo editing is slow. Fixing white balance, straightening, and cropping thirty items to the same ratio is an evening of fiddling in an editor most resellers don't have the time or the skills for. So the photos stay rough, and the items sit.
Photo Studio does that pass for you in seconds per image. And it does it the boring, predictable way — the same adjustments, applied the same way, every time.
What Photo Studio does
True-colour white balance
Indoor lighting lies — it makes whites look yellow and colours look off, which is exactly what causes 'not as described' messages. Photo Studio measures the colour of the backdrop behind your item and corrects the whole image against it, so the colour a buyer sees is the colour that arrives.
Straighten, crop and square up
Automatic tilt correction up to 15°, plus crops to the ratios marketplaces actually want — 1:1 square or 4:5 portrait. Corners are never padded with white: the crop is pulled inside the rotated frame so you get a clean edge every time.
Exposure and contrast that don't overcook it
Brightness, contrast and an auto-levels pass, each clamped to a sensible range. The point is a photo that reads clearly on a phone screen, not a heavily processed one that flatters the item beyond what it is.
One consistent export for everything
Every photo comes out the same way — resized to 1600px on the longest edge (never upscaled) and saved as high-quality JPEG. Your feed reads as one professional shop rather than a jumble of differently-sized snaps, and your uploads stay fast.
Free triage that flags the duds before you list
Photo Studio checks every shot for blur, bad exposure, blown-out highlights, tilt and near-duplicates — right in your browser, at no cost and with nothing sent anywhere. You find the unusable photo before a buyer does.
Optional AI Deep Check — advice, not edits
Ask for a second opinion on a photo and GPT-4o vision tells you in plain words what's wrong and how to reshoot it: cluttered background, poor lighting, bad framing. It returns written feedback, never an altered image — your product shot is never invented or retouched. Costs one AI scan credit.
Built into your listing workflow
Cleaned photos attach straight to the item in your ResellIQ inventory, ready for whichever platform you list to. No exporting, re-importing, or jumping between apps — and it's built for a full haul, not one photo at a time.

Photo Studio FAQ
- Does Photo Studio remove photo backgrounds?
- Not yet — background removal and cleanup are on the roadmap, and we'd rather say so than imply otherwise. What Photo Studio does today is correct the colour, exposure and angle of the photo you took, and crop it to a marketplace-standard ratio. The AI Deep Check will flag a cluttered background and suggest how to reshoot it, but it won't edit it out.
- Does AI edit or generate my photos?
- No, and that's deliberate. Every pixel change is a fixed, repeatable image adjustment — white balance, brightness, contrast, levels, rotation, crop, resize. Nothing is generated, invented or retouched, so your photo always shows the actual item. That matters when a buyer opens a 'not as described' case: your listing photo is your evidence.
- Will it fix yellow indoor lighting?
- Yes. Photo Studio measures the colour of the backdrop behind your item and corrects the whole image against it, bringing photos back to true colour. This is the single biggest cause of 'item not as described' messages on colour, so it's the adjustment we tuned hardest.
- Can I clean a whole haul at once?
- Yes. Photo Studio is built for volume, so you can process a full haul rather than editing one photo at a time in a separate app. The free triage pass also flags blurry, badly exposed or near-duplicate shots across the whole batch so you know which ones to retake.
- What does the Deep Check cost?
- One AI scan credit per photo, and it's entirely optional — the automatic corrections and the blur/exposure/duplicate triage are included and cost nothing. Deep Check returns written advice on a single photo: a verdict, a short summary, and specific issues with suggestions for reshooting.
- Where do the cleaned photos go?
- They attach straight to the item in your ResellIQ inventory, ready to use on whichever platform you list to — no exporting or re-importing. The original is kept, so you can always revert.
